Warranty

Collins Shower Doors Warranty

At Collins Shower Doors, we take pride in delivering high-quality products and professional installation services. We want our customers in Macon, Warner Robins, and throughout Middle Georgia to feel confident that their investment is protected. This warranty explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how you can request service should an issue arise.

Product Warranty

Aluminum, Chrome, Oil Rubbed Bronze, and Brass shower door frames and hardware are covered by a limited warranty for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation. During this time, Collins Shower Doors guarantees that these materials will be free from defects in manufacturing under normal residential use.

Glass panels are manufactured to industry standards and inspected before installation. While tempered glass is extremely durable, it is not unbreakable. Breakage due to misuse, impact, or abuse is not covered under this warranty.

Installation Warranty

Collins Shower Doors provides a one-year installation warranty to the original purchaser. This means your shower door installation will be free from defects in workmanship and performed to professional standards. If a problem directly related to installation occurs within this time frame, Collins Shower Doors will correct the issue at no charge.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

Our warranty is designed to cover defects in materials and workmanship, but it does not extend to issues outside our control. The following are not covered:

  • Damage caused by abuse, misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance
  • Accidental damage, including chips, cracks, or scratches to glass or hardware
  • Damage caused by using harsh or abrasive cleaners not recommended for glass or metal finishes
  • Normal wear and tear, including minor cosmetic changes such as fading or discoloration over time
  • Leaks or water damage caused by conditions outside the installation area, such as poor caulking by other contractors or structural shifting in the home

Customer Responsibilities

To keep your shower door in good condition, we recommend the following:

  • Clean glass and metal surfaces with mild soap and water or approved glass cleaners
  • Avoid abrasive pads, strong chemicals, or acidic cleaning products
  • Inspect caulking and seals periodically and notify us if you see signs of wear
  • Report any issues promptly so we can assist before the problem worsens

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe you have a warranty issue, please contact Collins Shower Doors directly. Be prepared to provide:

  • Proof of purchase (such as your invoice or receipt)
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos, if available, to help us evaluate the problem

Once your claim is received, we will review it and schedule an inspection if necessary. If the issue is determined to be covered under warranty, we will repair or replace the defective part or correct the installation at no cost to you.
